Apto Architects is looking for interns for both our Interior Design and Architectural teams

We are looking for two enthusiastic interns—one for our Interior Design team and one for our Architectural team—to join us in Amsterdam. These roles offer hands-on involvement in diverse projects, allowing you to gain experience from concept to execution while collaborating within a dynamic, multicultural team.

• Involvement in design and technical processes: from 3D visuals and floorplans to permit applications and construction details

What We’re Looking For

• Ambitious students (HBO/WO) in Interior Design, Architecture, or related fields
• Basic experience with software like Rhino (preferred), Revit (a plus)
• A proactive, collaborative attitude with strong communication skills in English
• Availability for at least 6 months

Interior Design Role:

• Develop 3D visuals, material concepts, and furniture/lighting schemes
• Create inspiring design presentations and floorplans
• Collaborate with architects on holistic design solutions

Architecture Role:

• Participate in the technical development of projects, including drawing sets (VO, DO, TO)
• Work on detailing, Bouwbesluit, and permit applications
• Contribute to construction and design meetings
