What did the first BkBeats poster look like? Who put together the first pantheon//? Who is the founder of BAU?

You can find this out and much more at the exposition ‘History Makers’ that will be shown from the 29th of April until the 10th of May in the BK Expo.

With this exhibition we want to celebrate 125 years of D.B.S.G. Stylos and the thousands of people who have studied at the Faculty of Architecture during these years. History Makers will highlight ten portraits of people who have made a special impact on Stylos, our faculty, student culture and architectural practices in the past 125 years. Impactful events such as the first edition of BkBeats, winning the Rotterdam Maaskant Award and the fire in the old faculty building are shown through their eyes.

If you want to have even more in-depth information about the people behind the ten portraits in the exhibition: There is a publication accompanying this exhibition. This book will be distributed for free at the opening event on Monday May 6th. Be there to make sure you get a copy as only a limited amount of 125 pieces will be made!
