SUMMARY:Observation Tower Nieuw Delft | Stylos Design Contest
DESCRIPTION:Naast het historische centrum verrijst een nieuw stadsdeel\, Ni
 euw Delft. Bij de ontwikkeling van dit stadsdeel is aandacht voor thema’
 s van nu\, duurzaamheid\, mobiliteit en het veranderende klimaat. Om stude
 nten te laten meedenken en bouwen aan dit nieuwe stadsdeel steken Stylos e
 n Nieuw Delft de handen ineen. Studenten zullen worden betrokken bij de ti
 jdelijke ontwikkeling van bouwveld 8.1. Op dit moment realiseert de projec
 torganisatie Nieuw Delft een tijdelijk bouwwerk op veld 8.1. Dit wordt een
  broedplaats voor initiatieven\, waaronder I Change. Een minimal foodwaste
  initiatief dat samenwerkt met Nieuw Delft. Ter ondersteuning van de broed
 plaats en het project I CHANGE is de wens om een toren te plaatsen die het
  mogelijk maakt de gebiedsontwikkeling van Nieuw Delft vanuit de lucht te 
 volgen. De uitkijktoren moet gedurende een periode van ongeveer 3 jaar een
  blikvanger voor deze broedplaats zijn en een extra reden zijn om de locat

 an je ontwerp is 9 december om 23:59 uur. --- Next to the historic city ce

 ty\, mobility and the changing climate. To let students participate in the
  construction of this new quarter\, Stylos and Nieuw Delft join forces. St
 udents will be involved with the temporary development of construction sit
 e 8.1. At this moment project organisation Nieuw Delft is realising an tem
 porary structure at site 8.1. This will be a breeding ground for initiativ
 es\, like I CHANGE. This is a minimal food waste initiative which is worki
 ng together with Nieuw Delft. To support the breedinggroud and I CHANGE th
 ere is a wish to place an observation tower to see the development of Nieu
 w Delft form above. The observation tower will be the eyecatcher of the br
 eeding ground for an period of 3 years and needs to attract people to visi
