DESCRIPTION:On the 27th of February\, V8 Architects will give a lecture abo
 ut the design for the World EXPO 2020. The 35th edition of this World Expo
  will take place from October 2020 until April 2021\, in Dubai. During thi
 s period\, 170 countries will present their ideas within the theme ‘Conn
 ecting minds\, creating the future’. The Netherlands will be represented
  at the EXPO 2020 by a pavilion that is not a building in the traditional 
 sense\, but a temporary climate system built using locally sourced buildin
 g materials. The Dutch pavilion was designed by the Dutch Dubai consortium
 \, made up of Expomobilia\, V8 Architects\, Kossmann.dejong and Witteveen+
 Bos. The pavilion brings together all the necessary know-how and technolog
 y in the fields of pavilion construction\, architecture\, interactive visi
 tor experiences\, closed-loop technology\, and sustainable building. The p
 avilion is all about ‘uniting water\, energy\, food’\, the theme chose
 n by the Netherlands.  --- Op 27 februari komt V8 Architecten een lezing 
 geven over het ontwerp voor de EXPO 2020. Van oktober 2020 tot april 2021 
 vindt de 35e universele wereldtentoonstelling plaats in Dubai. In deze per
 iode presenteren 170 landen hun ideeën onder het thema ‘Connecting mind
 s\, creating the future’.  Nederland neemt deel aan de EXPO 2020 met ee
 n paviljoen dat geen gebouw is in traditionele zin\, maar een tijdelijk kl
 imaatsysteem gebouwd met lokaal aanwezige bouwmaterialen.  Het Nederlands
 e paviljoen is ontworpen door het Dutch Dubai consortium\, bestaande uit E
 xpomobilia\, V8 Architects\, Kossmann.dejong en Witteveen+Bos.Het paviljoe
 n bundelt alle benodigde kennis en technologie op het gebied van paviljoen
 bouw\, architectuur\, interactieve bezoekerservaringen\, circulariteit en 
 duurzaam bouwen.
