Join BAU 2023!
On March 8th the BAU Month will take off with the opening lecture! Peter Veenstra from LOLA Landscape architects will give a lecture about the International Architecture Biennale Rotterdam. Come by the orange hall at 12:45 to get a free lunch and listen to the opening lecture!
After the lecture the How We Create workshop will begin. In the How We Create workshop, we explore ideas on urban living in the future. With the guidance of experts on different topics such as mobility and climate adaptive design, we discuss various problems, opportunities and possible solutions conform to the World Café method. Concepts will then be visually tested and further explored by design: each student can contribute by creating their own small urban fragment, all fragments together forming a model: The City of the Future. There will be a prize for the best addition to the city model. How We Create is a workshop of discussion, exploration and research by design. Come by room K in the orange hall at 14.00, but you are welcome to stop by at any time. The workshop and discussion rounds with Sweco's experts start every hour.
